Dr. Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology,Haldia has been named after the renowned Scientist Dr. Meghnad Saha. So, Dr. MSIT, Haldia takes inspiration from the life & work of that eminent personality. It is our motto to spread the message of Science, Education & Technology to the people of all rung of the society specially to the poorest of the poor.

Our thrust area is to inculcate team spirit to the students. We want to develop students in such a way so that they are well conversant to work as a team man. We try to generate delicate soft skills among them. We emphasize to grow our students not only skilled in Technical field but also in Human relation so that they are found to be well suitable to the present-day need of the Industry. Our students are educated to integrate the personal objective to the organizational objective. We encourage to develop innovative power among students in spite of several constraints and hurdles in their field.
