The whole time span 3 years is divided in three parts of one year duration each namely Part-I, Part-II, Part-III respectively. Each part is divided in two semesters of Six months duration. At the end of Six months of each part a final theoretical and sessional/Lab examination is conducted to consider their promotion in the next part / or semester. Each candidate will have to clear a subject within 3 consecutive year or 5 year from the date of registration of the candidate whichever is earlier.
The total marks allotted for diploma student is 60% in Practical / Sessional subjects and 40% in Theoretical subject. Besides this, students will have to appear at the internal assessment examination both in theoretical and sessional/ Lab. subjects. 20% marks are allotted for theoretical internal assessment examination whereas 50% marks are allotted for practical/sessional subjects. To ascertain the regularity of the students in classes 5% marks are allotted to the students for their attendance.
